About Rosie
We feel blessed to have friends in high places, not in a social climbing sense, but in a way that gives us access to failed working dogs who would otherwise be euthanised.
In her short life, Rosie decided that keeping up with the horses, chasing cattle in the heat or cold and getting her paws full of prickles wasn’t for her. She’s a soft natured girl and didn’t like having commands shouted to her (out of necessity so she could hear over the ruckus of cattle bellowing etc).
Rosie adores pats, cuddles and tummy rubs - luxuries she wasn’t afforded in her previous life. After her photo session, she lay on (not at!) my feet for a snooze.
She’s a gentle, submissive girl who has never shown aggression to anyone or anything. She’s a good girl around small dogs and pups too. Not tested with cats but can be.
Will your family be the one to show Rosie that there is life after failing as a working dog?
Rosie’s in care with us at Moree, NSW. Moree is a 7 hour drive from Sydney - I use Sydney to help illustrate where we are located. You must be prepared to drive to Moree to collect her if you’re the successful applicant as there are no commercial transportation options available in the current climate.
Enquiries to Denise on 0429 457 558.
Medical notes
Microchipped, vaccinated and will be desexed before going to her new family.
