About Fluffy T-rex
This adorable floof is affectionately named Fluffy T-rex, and is the sweetest, friendliest and most adaptable kitten. She received her name because of an abnormality with both of her front legs where she is missing bones, causing her to have bent and shortened legs. Although unable to walk and move as a regular kitten would, she has managed to adapt and find ways to run and jump and play! Running is more of a bunny hop, jumping takes a little extra thought, but playing is absolutely no issue.
While she is doing amazingly at this age, she is going to need a home that understands her limitations and is willing to go above and beyond for her. She will reward her lucky owner with the sweetest nature, huge purrs and endless enjoyment.
Fluffy T-rex has not met any children, but is likely to be ok with older gentle children. She is not afraid of the gentle dog she is in care with, but will not be able to defend herself against a full on puppy. However, she does love other cats and would happily befriend a fellow feline.
Fluffy T-rex does struggle on slippery floors such as tiles, so would be better suited to a home with mostly carpet or plenty of rugs. She has not been exposed to stairs, but would probably be ok if they are carpeted. She will need to be an indoor only cat. She has absolutely no trouble jumping onto the bed and couch :)
Fluffy T-rex is now available for zoom meet and greets following an initial email enquiry. She is located in Werribee.
Medical notes
Fluffy T-rex has been vet checked, desexed, microchipped and is up to date with vaccinations, worming and flea treatment.
Fluffy T-rex has a condition called radial aplasia, which means that she is missing the radius bone in both her front legs. At this stage she is managing very well and does not require surgery, however there is the potential for requiring intervention in the future. We will discuss her condition in detail with suitable applicants.
