About Karla ~ 1yr Old GSD (Rehome by GSD Rescue)
Meet Karla, a gorgeous 1 yr old pure bred German Shepherd. Karla possesses all the traits of this breed intelligence, loyalty and high energy. She comes from a loving home and has had basic training.
Karla’s new owners will need to have experience with large dogs, preferably German Shepherds. Karla is a high energy girl and will need daily walks/runs, and have ongoing training to consolidate her basic obedience needs. She would be ideal for agility training, nose work, tracking or similar as she needs the stimulation and challenge.
Karla would prefer someone at home, but has been used to being home alone during the day. Her new home will need 6ft fencing and have an adequate sized yard with undercover shelter. She is used to sleeping outside and will bring her own purpose built kennel to her new home.
Karla cannot go to a home with cats or small furry pets. She loves other dogs but is best suited as an only dog due to her training needs and just loves people. She would not suit a family with young children; she loves children and has been tested with a young family, but is just to boisterous for small children.
Due to personal circumstances Karla’s owner can no longer care for her and has contacted Dog Rescue Newcastle as she knows we’ll find a good home that will suit the needs of this beautiful girl. Karla is an assisted adoption and will stay with her owner until a new home is found.
This absolutely heart warming girl is on the hunt for her new home and really can't wait to meet you! If you're interested to know more about Karla, please contact Wendy at wendygermon@yahoo.com.au
