About Felicity
This darling 1-year old girl came from a colony of country cats in rural NSW. She was a bit timid initially but has adapted to the comforts of domestic life very quickly. Her favourite place to sleep is on her foster carer’s bed. She also likes boxes and getting into cupboards.
Felicity is very athletic and energetic and likes to play, as well as jumping up onto tables and benchtops. Felicity would love to be able to go outside, but as she is FIV positive as well as being preoccupied with hunting, she ideally needs a home inside with an enclosed outside area for her to enjoy going out in the open air. She would also do well going out for walks on a lead.
Felicity’s FIV status does not require medication and she will still live a long, healthy life. It just makes her all the more precious to us, and when her right owner comes along, they will feel the same way.
Felicity has been living with a 30 kg dog whom she has learned to like, but is still not completely confident around. A smaller and calmer dog would be better for her, but she has adapted well. She has also been living with 4 other cats and has done well with all of them except the older one, who she is just too boisterous for.
When felicity’s foster carer is playing with her, she can sometimes give a soft bite but responds well to a gentle reprimand. She has never broken skin or hurt her foster carer, and it’s never been an aggressive response, only playful.
She is very easy to handle and can be picked up, transported and handled by vet staff with no problem.
