About Zeus
Zeus is beginning his search for his new family, he is taking his time to get to know people before he makes a decision.
When Zeus was rescued he was completely shut down, he wouldn’t make eye contact, he took time to trust humans and even eat in front of them. Once he knew he was safe tho it was like a switch was flicked and he was a different dog. He loves playing with other dogs as long as there not too full on for him, he is good around cats and children too (supervised of course as still learning) Zeus loves nothing more then to cuddle and snuggle on the couch or bed with you. He’s still not yet interested in toys but with time we think he will learn how to play with them. Zeus loves to go running off lead, whether he’s chasing around after another dog or just running around on his own. Zeus will need time to trust his new family before we would suggest letting him off lead, he has basic manners but could do with further training. This not only helps his manners but will also build a bond between Zeus and his new owner. He needs time and patience to get to know people as sometimes he can become unsure and get scared (more so around men or total strangers) Zeus is getting better at meeting new people now however at times can get timid and may growl or snap at people. If you think you have what it takes to help Zeus out and gain more confidence around people please put an application in. Please note that it’s not first in best dressed with this fella. We will be conducting a number off meets before we will make a decision on where best suits him.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
