About Woof
This beautiful boy is Woof. He is a 2.5-year-old, Rottie, who is a big, affectionate, playful softie.
Woofs foster family would describe him as energetic, loving, cheeky, clever and inquisitive.
He enjoys being active (daily walks, playing games) but is equally happy to laze about as long as he has company. He doesn't sleep much during the day, but sleeps from about 9pm - 7am.
Woof likes to spend his time with his people, *but not children, unfortunately,*, playing games and getting his belly rubbed. He enjoys training (especially if snacks are involved) and finding hidden treats. He loves bones, balls, toys, ropes and snacks.
Since joining the Homeless Hounds family Woof has improved a lot with his training. He knows how to sit, stay, shake hands and lay down on command. He is getting better on his walks but still pulls on the lead. So his forever family will need to work on this.
He is also very food-focussed, and physically strong. He'll need a confident handler who is able to help get the best out of him and support his socialisation with other dogs.
He is not a fan of cats!
Woof has not met many other people while living with his foster family but has been friendly with all people he has met.
We're looking for a wonderful home for Woof where you'll be able to spend time with him, play with him, walk him regularly and give him lots of pats.

Medical notes
Woof is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and parasite control.

🧡 Important note to those interested in adopting Woof 🧡
If you’re interested in adopting Woof, please submit an application through https://homelesshounds.com.au/animal/woof, and please provide as much detail about you, your home and lifestyle as possible.
We are getting dozens, if not hundreds of applications for our animals at the moment, so we are unable to keep up with private messages and emails. By applying on our site, we will be able to spend more time creating new families and saving animals, as opposed to responding to enquiries. Thank you so much!
Please note all our animals are in private foster homes. We do not have a shelter. Therefore all meets are by appointment only.
