My name is Misty and I'm a lovebug!
I like to hide in dark places, but if there's a blanket on the couch next to YOU, I'm happy to be underneath it. That way, I know you're close-by and I feel safe. I also like to chill out in wardrobes, on shelves, in the toy box and under the table. I'll probably stop doing this once I'm in my furrever home and I'm safe and settled.
I really REALLY love cuddles! If I'm in a quiet space I'll quickly warm up to you and claim you as my own by giving your face some head bunts. In fact, head bunts and getting kissies on my forehead are some of my favourite things! I like to half-sit on my foster Meowmy's lap and lean against her for side rubs, kissies, and just to be held as that makes me feel safe. Then when I chill out I'll find a comfy position and accept all the strokes I can get, and I'll be VERY vocal with you if you stop! I'm the boss! I also LOVE a good tummy rub, but only when I roll over and ask you for one!
I have beautiful thick white fur and a pink nose and toe beans. I love having my fur brushed, and you'll need to do this every day as I'm a shedder! I'll also need to be kept indoors because I'll get sunburn very easily.
I respond very well to food and snax. Pizza is my favourite but I'm also a huge fan of Grainfree Kangaroo treats! I'll take whatever you offer! I'm also a talking kitty! If you meow at me I'll meow back, and I'll always let you know if I want something. Usually that's snuggles.
I'm getting on ok with my foster brofur, but I'd really come out of my shell in a home without any other animals. If you want a decorative white cat with a smoochy personality that loves cuddles, don't hesitate! Sent that enquiry now and let's meet!

To adopt a cat from Cat People you'll be required to have a remote or in-person house check done, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
