Requirements:
* A home with an active Lifestyle and large yard.
* A home committed to providing ongoing training and stimulation
* An environment where Belinda is included in all activities.
**No Children, cats or pocket pets please.**
Belinda is a gorgeous young adult who has plenty of up-and-go. The perfect “tradie dog”, she is a loyal and lovable larrikin. Typical of Cattle dog breeds, Belinda can be quite nippy and try to round things up when excited so an experienced home with no children is a must.
Will need a good couple of hours exercise per day , a fun game of catch in the yard or an adventure out of the house is just what she needs to keep her active mind busy.
Sharp as a tack, she has been excelling under basic training while in care to further develop her manners around guests. She will need a confident human pack leader who is practiced in establishing and maintaining firm boundaries.
Belinda is great at walking on leash – although she can get a little anxious in new environments, around new people and dogs so a confident and experienced owner is a must. Belinda is NOT a dog park type of dog.
Once she has bonded with you Belinda will shower you with hugs and kisses when you come home – to her, it’s almost like you have been gone for a whole year! She is a great companion and has been developing her independence and learning to entertain herself for longer periods during her time in care.
Belinda is looking for a household who will take the time to continue her training, assist her in building her confidence and a home who will have a nice collection of toys and games to keep her busy mind active.
Perfectly house trained, Belinda is great at using a doggy door and would do well in an only dog home where she will have her humans undivided attention to show her the ropes.
Still figuring out how to “Dog” she can take some time to warm up to other pets and people, so a slow, structured and controlled introduction to new friends is essential for positive results.
Belinda is a beautiful soul and could be that special bond that you have always longed for.
Not suited to a home with small pets or children.
