Hi there. I’m Monday. I’m a 20-month-old Kelpie x border collie boy.💕

I’m a busy, affectionate & happy boy and I’m looking for my forever family. I’d best suit a very active family that will include me in their everyday lives. I'm looking for a home that will keep my brain and body busy. I'm a bit of a herder, so maybe an ongoing herding class or obedience school loving home would suit me best.

I’m a super social boy and enjoy playing with other friendly dogs. I do worry about other unknown dogs at first so require a proper introduction so I know I am safe. I will only go to a home with another friendly dog to play with.

Since coming into foster care I’ve started my basic training. I’m food motivated & enjoy my training sessions. I’m a clever boy & I'm eager to please. I sit & wait patiently for my food, and come when called...most of the time. I have also started my lead training and am getting used to walking with one. I go on bush and beach walks with my foster family and foster siblings and don’t stray far from my foster mum. I love chasing the ball but I'm not obsessed by it.

I currently sleep outside in a kennel as I don't tolerate being crated. I do have inside time and love being part of the family. I’m a good boy and sleep quietly through the night. I currently live with cats but I am very reactive to them so my new home must have NO kitties. I also live with chickens and pay no attention to them in their enclosure or when they have free range time, although I have not yet been in the same yard with them.

I’m searching for a family who understands the needs of working breeds. A home that can provide me with both physical & mental stimulation to help me be the best boy I can be. If you think you can provide me with my perfect forever home my foster mum would love to hear from you.
