Hi there. I’m Ben. I’m a 15-month-old Kelpie boy.💕

I’m a happy boy and I’m looking for my forever family. I’d best suit an active family that will include me in their everyday lives. I’m a super social boy and enjoy playing with other friendly dogs. I need a home with a ute to ride in as being on the back tray or in the cage is my happy place. I'd suit a tradie who I could go to work with or non-working property.

Since coming into foster care I’ve started my basic training. I’m food motivated & enjoy my training sessions. I’m a clever boy & learn quickly. I sit & wait patiently for my food, drop and come when called...most of the time. I have also started my lead training and am getting used to walking with one. I go on bush walks with my foster family and foster siblings and don’t stray far from my foster mum.

I currently sleep both inside in a crate and outside in a kennel. I’m a good boy and sleep quietly through the night. I live with cats but I would prefer my home have NO kitties as they terrify me. If they run I will chase them, but I'm getting better. I also live with chickens and pay no attention to them in their enclosure or when they have free range time, although I have not yet been in the same yard with them.

I’m searching for a family who understands the needs of working breeds. A home that can provide me with both physical & mental stimulation to help me be the best boy I can be. If you think you can provide me with my perfect forever home my foster mum would love to hear from you.
