ABOUT ERNY

Erny is a gorgeous 3 year old Greyhound (otherwise known as a lounge lizard!).

He loves an ear and neck scratch. He has a very placid nature, and is friendly with other dogs and humans. Most of the day he just lazes about, watching what is going on, occasionally venturing outside for a bit of sunshine or to watch the birds. He does like to play ball, but only for a little while, and then back to bed!

Erny is learning how to walk on a lead, and is getting better every day. He is rather street shy, and will freeze if unsure of his surroundings, but a little bit of roast chicken will soon distract him and get him on his way again. Erny would suit a home with or without another dog, but is untested with children and as with any unknown greyhounds, we would not recommend cats at this stage.

He is a bit of a bowerbird, gathering items in his bed but is not destructive. He is very well mannered and house trained.

Erny is not an energetic dog, so a short stroll around the block once or twice a day for stimulation is ideal.
A house with secure and high fencing would be ideal, as he can jump rather high.
Erny is a lovely companion, quiet well mannered and the most handsome lounge lizard.
