šš MEET TOMMY šš
Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to the show! I would like to introduce myself - my name is Tommy and I was born to be a star! It was a long journey for me to get to this point where I can now talk in front of this assembly. After a few months of incredible patience and love giving I finally started to come out of my shell. It was not easy as before I was rescued by the Angels, I used to live on the streets and never made any human friends.
I can be a bit shy initially when I first move into a new home, but if you give me a bedroom or bathroom to lay low in whilst I gain confidence and learn to trust you itāll make the process much easier! Once Iām comfortable with you I wonāt leave you alone, I never stop giving my foster mum kisses and cuddles. I LOVE pats, chin scratches are the best and I let out such a big rumbling purr when I receive them.
I love to play - I especially like to move my paw to catch those annoying hanging toy birds and mice, as long as I donāt have to make a bigger effort than rolling over. Hey, donāt judge me, life is hard! After all, I spend my days sleeping, eating (did you say tuna? YUM!) and sleeping which is a pretty intense lifestyle. I am sometimes so exhausted that my foster mum comes over and tells me that I āsnore as loud as a plane engineā, I donāt know what a plane is but it sounds cool!
Iāve seen those short-legged humans on the big loud screen that foster mum has in her living room. Those loud creatures look a little strange to me so I am not too sure I would appreciate their presence in my fur-ever home, however I wouldnāt hurt a fly so as long as youāre prepared to give me some extra time and patience to get used to them Iām sure I would adjust fine!
I came from a colony full of other cats, and my foster home has a few that I can hear and smell through the door. Iām really eager to get out and play with them, I sit there and chat to them sometimes - they seem pretty cool and I wouldnāt mind having one or two in my new home!
The neighbours have an animal that makes a very loud āWOOF,ā sound - foster mum says itās a ādog barkingā but I have never met one face to face. The sound can be a bit unsettling to me, but I think I could learn to live with a calm, quiet dog (nothing too boisterous or playful!) provided we are given slow introductions.
Today, especially for you I will offer my āpats and purrsā voucher. For one purchase, I will give you twice as much love as you give me, if thatās possible... So, are you up for the challenge?
