About Lacey & Max ~ (On Trial 18/10/20)
If you think you know the definition of cute, then you haven't met Lacey and Max! Lacey (grey) is a 3yr old female Miniature Schnauzer and Max (white) is a 4yr old male Maltese.
Lacey and Max have shown to be a very loving and polite pair of pups. They each have good basic training and are showing an adaptability and willingness to learn new tricks. They have a lovely mannerism around feed time with no food possession, which makes them an absolute pleasure to have around. Lacey can sometimes enjoy decorating her home in her own way. She loves to rearrange her and Max's bedding, sometimes taking it outside for a change. And whilst winter is definitely over, it can sometimes snow unexpectedly if something fluffy looks all too enticing. She's definitely the cheeky one, but who doesn't love a cheeky fluffball who is that adorable!
Lacey and Max love being outside but are very happy being inside on a lap. Lacey can sometimes be a little sensitive and is wary of sudden movements and loud sharp noises. Lacey is going to need a lot of company and time to adapt, she truely loves your affection so will need someone with patience and time to allow her to fully settle and show you her amazing personality. Max loves his time on a knee as well but he loves wandering around the yard hunting little noises and being his own man. They both love running, with Lacey chasing Max and then wrestling. Max seems to wander off and do his own thing a lot and Lacey seeks out her foster dad for a cuddle.
They both love going in the car and get very excited at the sight of their leads. They also both get very excited when they see other dogs. Both Lacey and Max would benefit from a home with someone who has experience with introducing new dogs. Neither have shown aggression, but simply don't know how to introduce themselves properly yet. With time, we don't doubt they will have the best manners on the block.
Lacey and Max have had exposure to children, and whilst both were great and accepting, it would be preferrable if their forever home didn't have children under the age of 12. They would suit a couple or single with no children who is home most of the time to give them all of the love they crave.
