Bonnie

When Bonnie arrived at SMART, she was very scared little girl. She has been in foster care for the last few weeks, with an older dog who is showing her that life with a human can be pretty darn good.
After hiding out under the patio for a day or so, each day since has seen her becoming more confident with encouragement and a familiar routine. She is inquisitive with what you are doing, and will watch intently. She loves to rumble with her foster bro, so a new home with a playful fur friend would be ideal. She has had little training, but is a gentle girl and not jumpy. She does love her food, so reward based training would probably bring the best out of her. She has not been with children, but older children who have an understanding of her shyness and can continue to encourage her with activities would probably suit her. She have not been tested with cats, chickens or other pets.
Bonnie is 4 month old kelpie X, and is looking for her new home. Anyone wanting to adopt Bonnie, needs to be aware that she is still quite shy and will need to be understanding of this whilst she settle.
