Hey! I’m Bergamot and as you can see I’m a very handsome ginger boy. PRA rescued me from my life on the streets and I’ve been with my current foster mum ever since, but it’s now time for me to find my forever home!

Nature
I’m slowly learning to trust humans but I am still very timid and will occasionally hiss - not because I’m being a meany, but because I’m still a bit scared and learning how to live in a home.

I currently live in my very own apartment (a large crate with an en-suite) and I do come out to eat dinner and play but loud noises still scare me and that’s when I like to go back into my safe space. I’m starting to gain confidence and play more, but just by myself at the moment.

I’m very clean and take great pride in keeping myself well groomed and I’m extremely good at using my litter tray too!

I don’t talk much and my meow is very soft but a few of my endearing traits, according to my foster mum, include my little burps after eating dinner and the rather loud purr/snore I emit when I’m sleeping or relaxed.
Apparently, I’m also a very loud groomer but I think that just shows how important it is for me to always look my best!

Companions (Children/Cats/Dogs)
I currently live in a house with no other pets so I haven’t been around any dogs, but seeing as I’m quite an anxious boy who’s learning to adjust to my new house cat life, I think I will feel safer in a home without dogs and small humans. I have interacted with other cats and I’ve always been on my best behaviour so with a slow introduction I should be fine with another feline friend - in fact, it may even help me come out of my shell!

Likes / Dislikes
I love, love, love head scratches and pats and I like to be groomed with the cat brush, but I don’t really like being picked up yet. Once I feel comfortable with you, I will accept as much petting as you have time to give me and will purr and purr and purr to show my appreciation and may even give you an eskimo kiss!!

I love both wet and dry food and I am always licking my plate clean at the end of meal times!

My PURR-fect home would be with a family that has the time, patience and love to help me live my best life.
