About Hunter
Hunter ❤️ is still with us as an interstate adoption fell through .
This girl is all Rottweiler...she is gregarious, a tad demanding , a touch rebellious , all character and one of the smartest rottie dogs I’ve met (and that’s saying something considering I am owned by the four smartest 😉 !!!).
Hunter will be available to experienced rottie owners with ability to train only .
Hunter is close to 3 years old and has found her form (as rotties do at about that age) . She is housetrained , has been raised with children , and knows basic obedience . We have been concentrating on lead training as a start and she’s responding extremely well .
Hunter has lived up to her name and has a high prey drive . The thrill of the chase has been her only downfall. However ...this girl will thrive in a home that can harness her extraordinary drive . I’m thinking obedience, agility or scent work will suit this girl perfectly. We’ve touched on a little of each....in more experienced hands she would kick it . Her high food and toy attentiveness makes anything possible.
Hunter can be defensive with other overt dogs . An only dog home is preferable. Definitely no cats or pocket pets .
I am attempting to work collaboratively with her previous guardian to choose the best place for this girl so a written application may be called for.
