About Fred
FRED IS READY FOR ADOPTION!
Fred came from a small colony of cats. We rescued him along with 7 females most of whom were pregnant!!! As the only adult boy we believe that he may have fathered many of the kittens and maybe why he was such a grump when he first came into care (we took him away from his ladies!)
Fred is an independent man who enjoys to curl up somewhere to enjoy the peace and quiet. He loves a chin scratch and to sleep in the sink! Whilst Fred has been in care with other cats and is friendly with other cats he often becomes over protective, this protective nature often results in him getting cranky at you when you want to interact with the other cat, so unless you want a cranky Fred we are recommending homes as an only cat!
Freds home must:
-Have humans all over 12 years old! He can get iritated by the small humans running around and likes his space!
-Only cat home OR be willing to contend with a cranky Fred protecting his new cat colony! If you have experience with this type of cat behaviour and believe you can work on this with him let us know!
-On the quieter side, Fred enjoys a scatch. But now that he doesnt have all his ladies to protect from the other scary cats and humans out there he just wants peace and quiet!
-a bathroom sink, (as you can see he is quite fond of the sink life)
-someone who will give him all the pats he deserves, he will return the favour with purrs.
