Hello, my name is Starshe and I'm just as delightful as my name. I'm not sure really where to start when someone's asks me to talk about myself, but I'll see how I go!
So, I'm still getting used to that big wide world. Everything is so new, and it can be exciting and frightening at the same time! Every day I feel like I'm learning, which is my favourite thing to do. I love learning new tricks and rules. I'm getting really good on a lead and respond well to verbal cues. I'm getting pretty street savvy, look both ways and all that jazz. I'm still an on lead dog at the moment, although at the park I do enjoy a longer leash, so I can take in all the smells.
I don't mind other dogs, although I'm unsure on the smaller ones. Are they even dogs? Why are they so small? Did they never grow from being a puppy? It's a little befuddling to me, but maybe I can get used to it.
The world can be a little daunting with all the strange sounds and sights. My current housemate is a really good judge of when to be worried and when we shouldn't. I'll take a lead from her every now and then, but sometimes I'll give a good bark - you know, just to make sure nothing suspect is occurring.
I love a good cuddle with my humans. There's nothing better then a good squish and some one on one time. I love my humans so much that sometimes I need to wake them up before the sun does, so we can have a cuddle and reaffirm our love for each other at the start of a new day.
Sometimes when my humans go away for long periods of the day I'll have to look for them. The most obvious place they'd be is likely in the ground, so I'll dig a bit to try and find them. They notice the holes when they reappear, so clearly they acknowledge how smart I am in locating them.
What would my ideal home be you ask? Somewhere I can share the bed with my human, co-sleeping is great, don't you think? Also, a home where my training can be fine tuned. I'm a pretty bright woman, and I know I'm capable of learning a lot!
Come and fall in love with me, you won't be disappointed!
