About 561 – Boots
🐾🥾 THESE BOOTS ARE MADE FOR WALKING... INTO A FOREVER HOME 🥾🐾
Hi, I’m Boots! I’m a gorgeous young boy who’s had a rough start to life. You see, I came from a house with lots of cats and we weren’t very well taken care of. Luckily, Perth Rescue Angels stepped in and I was able to start my new life.
Since I didn’t have the best start with humans, I’ve been working really hard to trust again. I’ve come a long way in foster care; I now eat food from the top of my foster mum's hand. I can’t be touched as I’m still quite scared and put on a scary front by hissing. It’s all an act though, deep down I’m a real softie and just want to be loved.
I love when my foster mum reads to me or speaks to me in a soft voice. My eyelids get very heavy and I like to snuggle up in my bed or on my cat tree. I’m a playful boy, but I haven’t played with my foster mum yet.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I love other cats! I think it must be because I grew up around them and feel safe with them. I really think a friendly, cat social kitty would help me come out of my shell. I am untested with dogs and children, but I think I would probably be better suited to a home without either, although perhaps older children who can understand that I will need my space to settle in and feel safe would be ok.
Given my rocky start to life, I’d thrive in a quiet home with other cats and someone who will put the time and energy into showing me how great humans can be.
So, what do you think? Are you my forever family?
My PURR-fect home would be with a quiet, patient, and child-free household with at least one friendly cat for company and to help me come out of my shell.
