Ralph is a big, fluffy boy who likes the company of humans. He is quite pushy when he wants something and will let you know about it. Ralph has had a very hard year, losing his canine best friend and then his human. He is a very sweet boy, but finds the shelter quite stressful. He is looking for a loving home where he can settle back into family life and bond with his new forever humans.
He needs to be indoors or have access to a secure cat run. Ralph needs an adult only home with cat savvy people. He may be happy living with a calm, cat-friendly dog, as he has previously been very bonded with a doggy friend, and he is also okay with other cats.
Ralph sadly has renal disease, and he will be a palliative care cat. Ralph has abnormal kidneys, which he was born with, and only has a working kidney. He may live up to 3 years with his medical issues, though it could be less due to the one working kidney.
If you would like to consider any of our animals listed on PetRescue, please feel free to fill in one of our online animal wanted forms, situated on the home page of our website, www.aaps.org.au or please call our shelter directly & speak to one of our adoptions staff.
Our shelter is open to the public Monday to Saturday 10.00am to 3.30pm & Sundays & some public holidays 11.00am to 3.00pm.
