About Fin
Hello up there, I’m Finley or Fin.
I’m the little Ridgeback cross staffy puppy snoozing on your feet, it’s one of my favourite places to sleep.
I do love my dog bed but if you’re in the kitchen or working at your desk your feet make a good pillow too and I’d much rather be with you.
I’m looking for very own forever home.
My foster sister Heidi is lots of fun though she was scary at first.
Now I know she’s my friend I love to let out my silly side show and show her my zoomies and bounce around.
My zoomies are a work in progress as I’m still learning how to manage the sharp turns I make. Sometimes I skid out and go for a bit of a tumble.
I love my green gorilla friend, he helped me feels safe when I first moved into my foster home and learn to settle in my crate.
I can get a little scared of new things but I trust my humans to keep me safe and my confidence (and legs) are growing every day.
I am excited by the prospect of going on walks and trips to the beach and parks with my humans by my side and maybe a fur friend too.
To make this easier have already learnt with the help of some snacks and my good focus; my name and how to sit.
I have also begun practising my recall and walking on a lead.
I have my first trick "spin" almost nailed and I’m on the way to learning ‘leave it’ and stay.
After putting in such hard work to be the goodest boy there is I really want a home where I am a valued member of the family and get to spend loads of time with my people doing many different interesting activities, but who also leave me alone to keep practising how to self-settle as I don’t want to develop separation anxiety as I grow.
That doesn’t mean I don’t want snuggles because I do. I love to snuggle so if you want a couch buddy or a bed buddy or just a buddy in general I’ve got you covered.
One thing to remember though before I settle in for a good snuggle you’ll need to get my puppy crazies out, other than a good zoom or adventure I like tug of war and fetch.
I also like toys that squeak and those filled with food but my favourite type of toy is your shoes.
