Skye is a 1.5 year old female Cattle Dog X who is a real angel. She is a gentle and affectionate dog yearning for a close bond with her humans where she will shower you in unconditional love and loyalty.

A curious and clever girl who would enjoy nothing more than to accompany you on your outdoor adventures. Have you ever had a dog hug? If you are the one for Skye, be prepared to have endless! She has the most endearing demeanor that makes everyday brighter.

To no fault of her own, she has not had much socialization when she was a puppy so although she bonds with people very closely, it makes settling in to a new environment with new people overwhelming for her. Allowing her to settle in at her own pace with as little stress as possible is very important for this sweet girl seeking acceptance in a forever home.

Skye's absolute favourite thing to do is fetch. We have been using fetch as a rewarding activity when we go to the park, beach, or on a bush walk. She will fetch with just about anything you throw for her and she will bring it back it back everytime. Being a cattle dog, she can be obsessive with fetch making time spent at home less relaxing. It is best to keep her balls stored away in the home just using them as a reward and making a trip to the park for fetch a more stimulating expereience for her.
Her favourite toy is a yellow ball from her original home. This is her ultimate reward which will take up all of her focus, so she is only allowed to play fetch with it occasionally.

Skye is such an affectionate dog who will grab your attention and then steal your heart. When getting pats she will ask for more by offering you her paw and somtimes two! She just thrives being in the company of the people she loves and will show you unconditonal love and loyalty when you feel the same way about her. This means she wants to be involved in anything you want to do, which makes outings such a great bonding experience. She happily comes running back when called and will follow you around like she is your shadow.

Skye's ideal home would situated somewhere quiet and rural with a big yard to run around in. Skye needs an owner who is active that will take her on plenty of walks, trips to the park/beach, and willing to let her join in your outdoor activities. She will be best suited in home where she can be the only dog and with no children as she thrives when she gets to have all the attention. Skye is looking for a deep companionship, someone she can impress daily and love unconditionally. Her most important requirement, even more vital than fetch, is being surrounded and cuddled by her favourite people.
