About Cleo
Introducing this beautiful gentle lady – Cleo
Cleo is a 1 year and 4 month old Neapolitan Mastiff x and has a heart as big as her body! (Please note we do not know the x breed - it would only be a guess)
Cleo came into our care very nervous and very thin – her foster mum has helped her blossom into a beautiful loving girl. Cleo is still adding weight onto her frame but enjoying the different foods that her foster mum gives her to help her eat.
Cleo is currently fostered with another big breed dog and has happily been with a small breed who was visiting – Cleo will require to be adopted to a family that already has another dog that she can hang out with – this will also help with working on Cleo’s timidness.
Cleo will love to sleep next to her fur brother (or sister if the option) and will require a fur sibling who is happy to be followed around and have a constant shadow.
Cleo is a gentle loving girl, but will take a few moments to warm up to people – she is wary of new people, however once she has bonded to her family she will love with all her heart.
Cleo likes to play with the ball and is learning that swimming is also pretty fun.
Cleo’s size may make her look intimidating - but as is the traits of her breed, she is a loving girl who loves to be part of whatever is going on.
While Cleo is a large breed she is still really a pup, so if left home alone for large periods of time she can get up to some mischief - she calls it redecorating - her foster mum calls it moving pillows out the outdoor furniture and being cheeky.
When Cleo is happy she gets a wiggle on that takes over her whole body and without fail will bring a smile to anyone's face
Neo's are also known to be intelligent and mild mannered dogs who love to please their family and we can see all of these traits in Cleo. Cleo is at her happiest when she is with her family and part of it
We would love to see Cleo adopted into her forever home and blossom

Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.

Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
