About Duke
This handsome man is Duke! And this handsome man would love to make your life complete with his presence!
A Staffy x, born on 24th May, 2018, Duke is looking forward to finding his forever home.
Duke is an active boy with an outgoing personality who loves people and loves to play. He has a lot of energy and would be best suited to an active family who can provide him with the exercise he needs.
Duke is quite the ladies man and with his rugged handsome looks, a lot of the other male dogs can be quite jealous and Duke does prefer the company of female dogs only.
He does not mind the company of cats and pocket pets and with a proper introduction, could be rehomed with cats and pocket pets in residence. We would recommend a slow introduction as Duke's energy levels can be too much for some.
Duke loves to be out and about walking and although he is learning his lead manners and is improving every day, he would benefit from further training.
He shows no signs of food aggression, however he does show signs of seperation anxiety and would be best rehomed with someone who does not leave him alone for long periods of time (he would make a great tradie dog!).
Duke does not seem to be bothered by loud noises however we would recommend he be allowed inside during thunder storms and fireworks where he knows he is safe.
Duke is such a happy and affectionate lad, who would make a super loyal and perfect companion for the right family. He is so full of love, and would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family and involved in the day to day activities. Duke will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Duke's adoption fee is $450 and includes his desexing, lifetime registration, and 3 x training lessons with thanks to Wyong Dog Training. He is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with her vaccinations.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please give the facility a call on 43044350 to make an appointment and ask further questions.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once all of your questions have been answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in. Please bring to your appointment photos of your fencing also showing all gates that attach to the house.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
