I'm Skye and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• Rides in the car
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs. I can be shy around new dogs.
• I like both male and female dogs
• I have LOADS of energy so an active family is a must
• A family with breed experience is recommended
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• NO CATS

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard for long periods of time
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Cats, rabbits, guinea pigs & livestock - I may bark at them

My best features:
• LOVE people
• VERY active
• I can sit on command
• I am food motivated
• I am great in the car
• Happy to hang out with other dogs as long as they are friendly and not too bouncy as I'm a bit shy around new dogs.
• I walk well on lead
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I have not had much training and am very bouncy - further basic training, agility, trick training and doggy daycare would be ideal for me.
• I can sometimes be reactive to other dogs when on lead - further socialization and training is needed.
• I can be vocal when left alone - lots of physical and mental stimulation is required to keep me happy, quiet and mischief free

AN ADOPTION CAN'T BE APPROVED IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN TO THE SHELTER TO MEET SKYE IN PERSON.

ANY EXISTING DOGS AT HOME MUST COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET SKYE BEFORE AN ADOPTION CAN BE APPROVED
