the dog you have been waiting for is here!! smokie is a real 'people's dog' preferring the company of intelligent, fun loving humans rather than the backyard and the fence. He listens intently and hangs on your every word --even giving the impression that he understands. Smokie absolutely loves to be patted and even hugged! when you're working he watches and when you're relaxing he joins in. Smokie shows a keen interest in cooking and is more than happy to be your taste tester. We're not saying that smokie wouldn't make a great family dog (in fact he is sharing a house with other dogs, cats and kids) but on a typical family day in a typical busy, noisy and packed household, smokie chooses to be with an adult and sharing grown up experiences. Although friendly, playful and a larger puppy, smokie is gentle and realises the size difference between smaller children and himself, taking care that he doesn't knock into anyone or jump up on them. Smokie is one of a number of puppies available for adoption from a remote community in the northern territory. Their rescuer raises the most wonderful pups. . . . All are different, all are blends of numerous different breeds and are very healthy young dogs with great temperaments. These puppies have been well socialised with other dogs, people, children and the large number that have been rehomed in sydney and interstate to date have been great with cats as well. All our 'desert puppies' are available for adoption outside nsw. Smokie comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $360. If you would like more information on smokie please email using adoption enquiry as your subject heading. Before phoning or emailing, please check the 'desert dogs' page on www. Paws. Com. Au for any updated photos and to make sure these dogs are still available for adoption. Listed 13 august
