About Patrick
Sir Patrick M Grey
Sir Patrick had a rough start in this life and arrived being a very scared cat. Today after lots of love and patience, he finds himself safe and became a chatty and happy chap!
Patrick enjoys his time alone checking the outside world through the window and having naps in the sun (his favourites!), but will call you whenever he is ready for food, to play together or just in need of some attention.
Patrick is a sweet boy. He only attempts to slap your hand when you pet him too much or in places he does not like (belly and back legs) but will never hurt you. He will rub himself in your hands for some petting and lay down showing you all that fluffy belly, but… if you touch his belly he will simply run away!
Even though he is not a lap cat yet, from time to time, he will come to the sofa and sleep while we watch tv. Some other times we lure him with some treats (he loves treats!!!) and he finally stays closer. Lately he comes to sleep with us in a corner of our bed. We are convinced he will become the lap-cat you dreamed of with the right amount of time, patience and love.
As he had a rough start in life, his teeth were bad, and many had to be removed. For this it is recommended to keep him as an indoor cat on a mostly wet food diet complemented with some dry food (small bites please). However, that will never stop him from eating and enjoying life! And he loves Temptations treats! (have the perfect size for him).
Patrick enjoys playing and running for a few minutes around the apartment and with a good scratcher your furniture will be always safe!!!
He is litter trained, and very clean. Only recommendation is to have an enclosed litter tray because he covers and covers his things and sometimes can make a mess with the litter itself. Once he is done, he comes out of the litter meowing super happy and letting you know he did his thing! Ha-ha
We believe he needs a mostly quiet home, with young adults (no kids) who can be patient, give him space to trust and be willing to love him and spoil him as he deserves for the rest of his life.
If you are ready for this, then Patrick will be your best companion forever!
Favourite toys: paper strips, tunnels made from boxes.
Strength: he is a purring machine and has a lovely curly tail! UNIQUE! 😊
Quirks: can be messy with the litter while trying to cover his “bits”. Recommended a closed litter for him as he is a bit shy too.
Instagram: @coolcatladydesign there you can see all the pictures and videos from his first day as a foster baby.
Extra Notes: we believe he will do great with another male cat, preferably a kitten or another young, chilled cat.
Medical notes
Patrick is a healthy happy boy! He has been desexed, microchipped and vaccinated!
