We are very concerned about the health of our volunteers and their families.
To protect them, we require you to read the following and answer honestly before any meet and greets can be organised.
IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS
Any of these symptoms, or any family member displaying, we ask you to wait before applying for a dog -
* Coughing or sneezing
* runny or blocked nose
* shortness of breath
* high temperature or fever

If you have returned from overseas or been on a cruise anywhere in the world, please do not apply within 2 weeks of your return to Australia.
If you are in self isolation, please do not apply, you need to stay at home.

Requirements
*A family who are home more often than not
*An active lifestyle
*Older kids only due to mouthy play and jumping
*Owners committed to ongoing socialisation and training
*An environment where Rina will not be left for long periods without human company
*NO CATS or pocket pets
Rina is all legs and kisses. Loyal and affectionate she loves her cuddles and playtime. Rina loves a long walk and would absolutely thrive with a big space to bounce around. She is easily kept happy with some toys and would really benefit from stimulating games such as snuffle mats or puzzle boards. As she is still growing out of her puppy phase playtime needs a bit of guidance - she plays with her mouth and those long legs love to jump and jump she can! However training is coming along very quickly and is made easier when she will do anything for food!
Rina would suit a family with older dog savvy kids, or singles or couples with an active lifestyle to go on adventures with. As for rest , an indoor lifestyle is for miss Rina as she wants to be close and loves a good nap on your lap If you let her!
Rina loves to show just how interested she is in other doggos on her walks so she does have lead reactivity that we are working on which requires a strong arm. We have made friends with a foster fail living at another house and after a slow introduction they had plenty of fun! Rina just hasn’t had anybody to show her any manners or how to play with other dogs appropriately so ongoing socialisation will be important. If she did have a doggo sibling they would need to be a good role model and not a dominant type.
She is fully house trained and will tell you if she needs, but can be left alone inside for longer periods without causing trouble.
