About Jedda DL2541
Jedda is an inside dog and enjoys being kept nice and cool. Going out in anything over mid-20s, she is not interested!
Jedda fancies herself as a professional fly catcher. She hasn't actually caught any yet, but gets 10 out of 10 for effort and determination. She is well behaved in the home, takes food gently from your hand, and waits to be invited onto the couch.
Jedda loves her walks and waits patiently for you to put the lead on. She has no road awareness, but is learning to stop when getting to a road. She doesn't tend to pull, and doesn't try to chase birds/ducks. But as she doesn't like other dogs, that is when she will pull hard on the lead. She possibly may make friends with a calm and relaxed dog with slow introductions.
Jedda is ok with people/strangers/children, though has no real interest in them. She isn't bothered by passing cars on quieter streets, but on main roads she can become overwhelmed and try to chase cars. She will need more practice to learn how to walk safely in these areas. Perhaps she hadn't had much experience with cars or noises in her previous life, as she will often growl (occasionally bark) at unusual noises in the home, but is quickly becoming more comfortable as she settles in.
Jedda is a sweet girl and she really loves getting pats and belly scratches. If you'd love to welcome her into your life, email DFLadoption@gmail.com to apply.
