Requirements:
• Another friendly dog to become besties with and to help lead the way
• A patient home committed to ongoing training
• An indoor lifestyle where Schultz will feel included with a family who is home the majority of the time
• A home with a large yard to accommodate Schultz’s size, energy and exercise needs
• Due to his size and lack of spacial awareness, no children under 8 yrs of age
• A cat-free home.
Schultz is an awesome sweet boy who is looking for a home where he will be included in everyday life and not left alone for long periods.
He is a big clumsy puppy that has no idea of his size and who loves to chew, play ball and have a good game of tug-of-war. Schultz loves his small human foster brother and absolutely adores spending time with his furry foster sister.
Schultz would love a doggo friend in his new home – one that is comfortable with his puppy energy, and that can help him learn how to be a confident, well-mannered adult dog.
This sweet boy is house trained, uses the doggy door, will sit and lay down and he travels well in the car, riding along with his seat-belt on. He is happy to walk wearing a harness but can get a little worried when he gets too far from home or a strange dog walks by.
A highly food motivated boy- Schultz is extremely intelligent and will do well with formal ongoing training. Schultz can take his love of food a little too far sometimes and has been known to steal human food if he gets the chance. He is gentle when eating and will remind you if you are running late for breakfast, lunch or dinner!
Schultz is an adorable snuggle bug and is truly happy when he is curled up with his humans, he will happily squish into the smallest most uncomfortable spots if it means being closer you to you.
If you are looking to add a big goof ball to your family and can provide a love-filled inclusive home - then Schultz might be just the boy for you.
