Jewel is another of the litter of puppies that were taken to a rural vet for euthanasia, as they were unwanted by their owner, at just three weeks of age.
Thankfully the vet called us and asked if we could take them. With the help of the vet practice (they fostered them initially) we were able to say YES!
Fast forward a month or so and they are all thriving! They are a wonderful success story, having spent the last month at the vets residence in foster care. They have been very well socialised with several dogs, including the Maremma (see photo) and some young children. All of the seven, love to eat, play, and sleep in any order, and will be ready to leave the nest from Monday Oct 12th.
Before you enquire, please note our location is Moree, northern NSW. Should you be successful in adopting, you must drive to collect. THERE IS NO OTHER TRAVEL OPTION.
