About Harlow
Time has come for us to start the journey of finding the right home for Harlow our German Shepherd. A lot of work has occurred with Harlow to build her muscle tone, loose a bit of weight, build her confidence and self control. Date of Birth 31/8/2015.
Harlow needs a strong, confident and dog savvy owner. This girl needs consistent and clear boundaries in an only pet household. Harlow is good around horses and appears to have had exposure prior to PARH. As soon as a float is opened Harlow happily goes and sits in there watching her foster carer. Harlow is in foster care and socialised with other dogs but she is a bit of a rascal sneaking up behind other dogs and nips. Harlow appears to be ok with chickens too, however Cats are a no go!
Harlow is a big strong girl so not suitable in a home with children - babies, toddlers, school age or young teenagers. She needs a quiet and relaxed home. Harlow will bond strongly with her owner and be vocal when they arrive home. Having said all of that Harlow will make someone an awesome companion and be devoted to them.
Harlow goes to her new home vet checked, vaccinated, flea and worm treated, desexed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $600. A lot of hours have been put into Harlow to get her to this point and we will be very thorough with our matching for this girl.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
