Avril

Avril is an incredibly stunning girl who has come such a long way in her time here with us. Although she is still a little bit shy at times, all Avril really wants is someone who will respect her boundaries and will let her sit next to them while they type emails (she also likes to send her own emails when you walk away!).
Avril will need a quiet and mature household where her new owners will give her plenty of safe spaces to hide in until she is comfortable enough to come out. Once she does become comfortable she is not inherently affectionate to begin with however we believe given time and the right home she will blossom into a loving cat in no time.

Avril has learnt that small pats aren't a bad thing at all and will now lean in for a little bit of a chin rub every now and then and is well on her way to proving to us all that one day she may even be a lap cat. Avril does love to follow her humans around, whether it be for food or just to chat with them.

Avril will need a home with no young children as she does startle easily and does not like to be overly handled, she also likely would not cope with a dog in the household. Avril does get along well with other cats however tends to bond with only that cat and will then not create as much of a relationship with her new owners, she would be perfect for someone looking for a companion for their existing kitty.
