About Sheldon
Hi, I'm Sheldon, I am 10 weeks old and my next vaccination is due on 28/10/2020. My breed is Kelpie cross and I have been eating HPR (raw meat and veg mix), chicken necks and puppy biscuits. I like to eat lots because I'm going to grow really big, my front legs and paws are already really big. I've had some pigs ears and other long lasting treats to keep me busy during downtime.
My favourite toys have been anything that squeaks, old socks to play tug-of-war and empty toilet rolls. I haven't ripped any of my toys apart except for the toilet rolls.
I really like it when I can run and jump and play in the backyard and in the house with my brother Stewart and my big foster brother, but sometimes I'm happy to play on my own and see how many times in a row I can squeak my toys. I love to cuddle, but I'm happy to sleep on my own so I can stretch out. The vet said I'm going to be a really big boy, so I need the space to stretch out and concentrate on growing.
I have learnt to do my "business" outside and I've also learnt sit, stay, come and go to bed and some good manners. I'm working on drop and walking on the lead. I like to be comfy and warm and hangout with everyone, but I don't mind taking my nap in my bed by myself.
I don't like loud noises and I can be a bit nervous in new situations.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a bit, I hope we can work together as a team and make my adoption as smooth sailing and happy as can be.
Thank you, Sheldon

**PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE SENDING AN ENQUIRY OR CALLING US!**
OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.
http://farmdogz.com.au/adoption-application-form/
3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.
**PLEASE NOTE: WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT US BEFORE FILLING IN OUR ONLINE ADOPTION FORM**.
We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
