About Oak
Oak is a brother to Omi, they both came to us as anti-socialised kittens. Oak is a gorgeous boy. He is very shy and will need a home where there is lots of time and patience especially to begin with so he can learn to trust his new human. He has come a long way since coming into foster care but are still unsure if he will become a snugglepuss or not. Oak gets scared with loud noises and sudden movements often finding a hiding spot until he gets his courage up again. He loves his toys and playing with his sister, Omi, and foster brother. He has been in contact with a dog but is still a little unsure. Oak is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and vet checked. He is currently located in Goulburn and will be available from 1st October.
Adoption details
Our goal is to match pets' personalities and exercise/training requirements with people whose lifestyle they are best suited to. This reduces the chances of the pet winding up in a pound again. Please don't feel offended by our adoption process, it is for everyone's and every animal's benefit:
1. Submit application for adoption (obtain at Best Friends Pet Rescue website).
2. Homechecks are conducted on short-listed approved applicant(s).
3. Best match selected according to the pet's personality and needs.
4. Successful applicant notified, and must place holding deposit while transport/pickup arrangements made.
5. Adoption transaction completed.
