Meet Harry! Surrendered to the shelter once, adopted, and then surrendered again, Harry is now looking for his third and final (he hopes, he doesn't want to live in the shelter!) forever home. Before anything else, this is a LARGE lad we are talking about, and not in a good way. While here the first time, Harry was placed onto a diet, unfortunately this was not followed in his last home so he is now bigger than he was before. Harry has a bad relationship with food, but with the current diet he is on (Hills Metabolic) this has started to get better. The nutrition of Hills Metabolic is clinically proven to work with each cats unique metabolic response activating the bodys natural ability to burn excess body fat and affect calorie utilization. On this food, he will lose weight, and will feel less hungry. He gets grumpy when he wants to be fed and can sometimes be a bully, so his new owners will need to be able to set some rules around food and feeding times. Harry is very sweet and cuddly, but doesn't like loud noises or sudden movements. He loves his snuggles with the Cattery staff and volunteers, and we know that in the right household he is going to be one big love bug. He is not suited to live with other pets, and may be happy to live with one or two children over the age of 12 if they are sensible and cat savvy.
