About 3449 - Aslan
💙🌈 MEET ASLAN 🌈💙
Hello! My name is Aslan and I promise you’re about to fall in LOVE with me! I came all the way from the country after being hit by a car where I broke my tail and hip. Luckily for me, Perth Rescue Angels helped me get my hip all fixed and I am much happier now even though I still have a tiny limp.
Nature
I’m looking for a home where I can give you as much love as I can. I quite like being picked up and will hold onto you and sit on your lap. Once you pick me up I’ll happily sit there for hours and purr my little heart out. Especially if you give me lots of warm blankets - I love the ones that heat up and I love to sit in my little basket.
Companions
I’m the kind of boy that would fit into almost any household. I don’t mind other cats as long as they like me too. My foster mumma is sure I would be very gentle with kids and could potentially even live with a calm dog (with the right introduction as I haven’t met one yet!). I would also love a home that understands that I can’t jump or climb very well, I can get onto low couches and into easy-to-climb up beds but that’s about it... otherwise I love to hang out on the living room rug.
I will need to be strictly an indoor only cat, I certainly don’t want to mess with any cars again, and because of my pale colouring Its very important I stay out of that harsh sun.
Overall I am a really content boy and I would be perfect for anyone who needs a loving, cuddly companion.

Aslan also has alopecia (patchy hair loss) on his ears with some redness of the patches, this is likely due to sun damage and will require to be monitored at his yearly health checks. There is a small risk the ears will need resecting in future if this gets worse. Aslan has now fully recovered from having the femoral head of his left hip removed due to being hit by a car.
