About Cliffy ~ 8.5yr Old Terrier X (On Trial 10/10/20)
They dont get much cuter than Cliffy. Cliffy is an 8 1/2yr old male Terrier X. He weighs about 15 kgs and stands about 50cm tall. This pint sized little guy is searching for his new forever home with DRN, and is keen to meet you!
Cliffy loves getting up in the morning having breakfast then sitting outside in the sun. He is a very good outdoor dog. Loves playing with his toys and chasing/catching his ball. He especially loves squeaky toys and plays with them for ages.
Cliff is a good companion but not a dog that will sit on your lap but will sit up beside you and eventually take over the chair. He has a chair outside and he regally sits on it thinking he is king. He is good with people and older children but can be a little boisterous playing so no young children. For this reason, homes with children under the age of 12 will not be favourable.
Cliffy is not good with other dogs, he has so far been an only dog so only dog homes will be preferred. He has never been socialised with other dogs or been trained to walk on a lead but is progressing well with this so will need to make sure you keep up with this training. He is very polite and will sit on command. Cliffy will suit a home where someone is home throughout the day and has no other dog living within the home. He would suit a retiree or couple who is wanting a lovely companion dog to be with them.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
