About Dora 🧸️
This happy little senior girl is Dora.....whilst she did arrive in care a little on the chubby side, her carers have worked hard on reducing some of this excess weight and she's now looking much healthier! Dora is in foster care with 4 other dogs and of course her foster mum & dad. She was a little nervous and reactive around her 4 legged friends when she arrived, but seems to have settled in quite well and feeling more comfortable around them now. She has had no known exposure to children, and given her age, would be better suited to a home without them.
Dora is toilet trained, but may need reminding in her new home, until she settles into her new space. She is crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night....Dora's a quiet girl who would make the perfect little companion dog. For 12 years young, Dora still enjoys her walks and is great on lead. She loves to give nose kisses and will follow you around the house and yard, but not one to get underfoot.
Dora does get a little upset when left alone, but settles fairly quickly and is generally a quiet little girl who is happiest just hanging out with her humans. She is not a barker and likes to sleep if there's nothing exciting going on. She did arrive in care needing a tooth removed, but that has now been done and no longer giving her any trouble. Dora is showing signs of having mild arthritis in her legs, but this does not seem to be causing her any pain, or stopping this little madam from enjoying everything life has to offer.
Dora will need to continue eating a good diet in her new home, to maintain a healthy weight. This will help reduce the affects of arthritis and allow her to age gracefully.
The perfect home for this little sweetheart.......Dora would ideally suit an older person who was looking for a little companion. She has not been around children as far as we know and not been exposed to them while in foster care, so we will be looking for a home without children. She does not need a large yard and will only be going to a home where she was allowed to live both inside and outside as part of the family.
Dora is ready to meet her potential new family, so please provide us with as much information as possible about you, your home and lifestyle and what sort of life you can offer this gorgeous girl, so her foster family can organise some meets! She is located in Tumbi Umbi, on the Central Coast NSW.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
