About Possum
Little Miss Possum came from the Pound all alone. We have no idea how she came to be in the drop off pens or what happened to the rest of her family.
All we know is she was a sad, lonely, dirty, cold puppy when she arrived. A nice warm bath, cuddles in a dry towel, good food and a vet check soon had her feeling so much better.
Possum has had to be in isolation for her first week to ensure she was healthy and has handled it admirably. She has her snuggly warm blankets and her toys to keep her company as well as cuddles every time I go into her pen.
Possum is a total delight! A warm drink of milk before bed is her favourite thing, a cuddle in my arms then she happily snuggles into her blankies, with not a peep out of her.
Possum is a small girl, weighing about 4 kilos. The photos of her in the crate and with the red Cattle dog are to illustrate her small size as the close up photos make her appear to be quite big.
Possum is in care at Moree, NSW.
Because of the Covid situation, please do not apply if you’re not prepared to drive to collect her as there are no other transportation options (we’re a 7 hour drive from Sydney).
Please apply or enquire through Petrescue. Tell us about the home and lifestyle you can offer Possum ie. who is in your family, their work hours, other pets etc. then do nothing ie. DO NOT phone or message, until you hear from us as we’re volunteers with many dogs to care for.
Medical notes
Possum will go to her new family, microchipped, vaccinated (first two vaccinations) and desexed.
