About Jaz ~ 18mo Kelpie (On Trial 27/09/20)
Introducing the beautiful Jaz! Jaz is a 18 month old female kelpie.
Jaz is currently in foster care with 4 other dogs and she gets along well with them. She loves to play with the other dogs!! When Jaz came into care she was very timid, she has eventually come out of her shell and when out in public loves nothing more than to greet everyone she meets with a big smile and wag of the tail. Jaz walks well on a lead.
Jaz would love for her furever family to continue her training as she is a very smart dog and picks things up quickly. Jaz is currently learning to be house trained, her training is going really well.
Jaz is very affectionate and loves nothing more than to snuggle in for a big cuddle, although due to her size her foster parents would recommend older children or children who have experience with larger dogs. Jaz is a very playful dog and loves her toys especially ones which she can chew. Jaz would love to go to a furever home where she has another play mate to keep her company although this is not essential, as long as she has toys to play with.
Jaz is quite happy to be outside during the day and sleeps inside at night. Jaz will definitely need a secure yard with high fencing. She would make the perfect addition to any family.
For more information or to meet Jaz please email foster carer Amy, amyeh34@hotmail.com. Jaz is in foster care in Pelaw Main, NSW (west of Newcastle). Jaz’s adoption fee is $450 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments and microchipping. You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
