Beautiful Zali is still looking for her forever family. Zali has had much uncertainty in her young life, and is looking for a family who can give her the love and stability she deserves.

Zali is a 1 year old bull arab X who was surrendered to FSDR due to no fault of her own and needs a home that will set clear, consistent boundaries to help her become her best self.

Zali has flourished in foster care and has learnt so much in a short time, she does however have high-arousal and over-stimulating tendencies that she needs an understanding individual or family to help her overcome. She can become boisterous when overstimulated, so for this reason she will also need a home with children aged 12+. She is also not suitable to a home with cats or pocket pets.

Zali loves playing with other dogs, but would need to be rehomed either as an only dog or with a dog who is a bit more ‘mature’ than her, as to not play into her over-stimulating behavior. She also needs someone home more often than not, to supervise, particularly in the first few weeks to make sure she isn’t overly playfully annoying.

Zali is very food motivated and loves showing her foster parents how great she is at following instructions when hotdogs (treats) are involved. Zali will need a family who understands her needs for mental enrichment and that she is a very active girl once she has settled into her new home.

She can become mouthy, biting her lead while on walks which she has been slowly getting better with the help of her amazing foster carers. Zali’s new family must be willing to work with a dog trainer to enable them to understand and care for her needs. We will pay for her first session with the trainer who has successfully worked with her foster family.

Zali is Desexed, Microchipped (978102100284805), Vaccinated and Flea/Tick/Worm/HW treated. She is currently being fostered in Black Rock, VIC Her adoption fee is $450.
