About Frodo
Found dumped in the back blocks of Tarneit in Melbourne's western suburbs, Frodo was a scared and hissy boy. After going through Lost Dogs Home, who did all his vet work (thank you! love your work guys!), Frodo came out and started hissy rehab with one of our expert carers. After he got to the point of being pattable and playful, he was sent off to Captain Lorca and Julie for the CPoM kitty finishing school to let that loving pet cat that he really is out for all to see!
Frodo Baggins is a grey and white cat with the most gorgeous markings - he looks like a beautiful butterfly with a stripy bum!
Frodo is a shy boy, but he soon warms up when provided a quiet space and frequent pats. He's a *massive* lovebug. Frodo absolutely adores a good long head scritch, neck scritch and butt scritches! He'll rub around your ankles asking for more and he's recently discovered the absolute delights of lap cuddles! He's also an intense biscuit maker, which has earned him the nickname 'The Muffin Man'.
Frodo is a very placid cat, he gets on really well with his Fostfur Brother and they like to play chase, so he would get on well with another placid cat in the house (and maybe a gentle dog). He's just discovered toys, of which he prefers the noisy variety. Make sure you pick sturdy toys as he's a destroyer! He likes to do his own thing during the day, but as he gets more confident he'll spend more time in the same room as you.
The Muffin Man loves to eat. He'll be fussy at first, but it's all for show as he's a little piggy wiggy! His favourite foods are crisps, chips, bread and anything else you might be scoffing.
Frodo is an awesome cat and he'll make a wonderful companion for the right person. If it's you, submit an enquiry right now and lets get you two together!
Frodo 'The Muffin Man' Baggins is a healthy FIV+ raw fed cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #956000012150148, source #RE101165). If you have other cats that do not have FIV, we are happy to assist with discounted vaccination for them against FIV. He is available for adoption right now!

We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
