About Poppy DL2535
Poppy is a beautiful brindle girl who is an absolute sweetheart and loves her humans.
Poppy enjoys her daily walk and loves to explore while out and about. Poppy absolutely loves her naps throughout the day. She is a joy to have in the home; she is house trained, well behaved indoors, and not destructive.
She currently walks well on lead and always sits before crossing the road. She loves to do her own thing at home, so while she enjoys being with you, she's not demanding of your constant attention.
She gives the best cuddles and she loves plenty of cushions and blankets on her bed to lay on so she can get extra comfy. Poppy gives the cutest yawns after bedtime and naps... but the only way to hear them is to adopt her!
Poppy already knows basic cues, but will benefit from ongoing and consistent training. She sits well for treats and before meal time, and loves a Kong for dinner. She is a huge foodie, so incorporating food puzzles is great for her mental stimulation and training.
Poppy is friendly with kids and has lived with kids before, and hasn't been tested with cats. She is dog friendly, but is not fond of dogs smaller than her, so will need slow introductions to be completely comfortable and safe. Poppy could live with a male dog with a similar energy level, who is just as chill as she is. She is currently living with her foster brother (7yo Male Staffy Cross) and they get along very well.
If you'd love to meet our pretty Poppy, email DFLadoption@gmail.com today to apply!
Medical notes
Sensitive skin. Lump removed from back, results came back all clear, will need to keep an eye on the area in case lump reappears.
