About Millie
Adoption Fee: $70
Millie is a gorgeous old kitty who finds herself in need of her last loving home. Still beautiful even though she is a senior cat, she has stunning green eyes.... she generally has a rather grumpy look on her face but don't let that fool you... Millie is a gentle and friendly girl. She spends most of her time cat-napping and looking out of the window from her comfy bed. She doesn't ask for much; just a full tummy, to be nice and warm, and some company. In return she will give you love and purrs when you pat or stroke her, and chat with you when you speak to her. Millie is fully litter trained and keeps herself scrupulously clean; she enjoys washing herself.
Her teeth are in pretty good condition for a 15 year old cat; she does show evidence that she has had sore eyes over some time, but our vet advised that she doesn't need any treatment at the moment: worth considering however that she may from time to time need vet checks for her eyes drops if they do get sore again. Her hearing is still very good!
Millie is still a good jumper and shows no signs of sore legs; however as mentioned she does spend the majority of her time curled up napping! Given she sleeps a lot she doesn't need someone home all the time, so could go to a home where people work for a few hours a day.
Millie will hiss when she sees the other cats and the dogs in her foster family so we feel it would be nicer for her to be the only pet in her new home.
If you can offer this gentle, sweet girl her final retirement home where she will be cherished, looked after and live a quiet life, Millie will be well worth your kindness.
Millie came into care with Will (also listed). The cats can be rehomed as a pair or can also be separated, as although they get along well with each other, they are not bonded and don't spend much time together.
MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, F3 vaccination, flea and worm treatment, microchip (including transfer of ownership), and sterilisation. Please see comments above for Millie's health. As with all older cats, regular vet check-ups are recommended.
