About Toro ~ 19Mo Rottweiler X (On Trial 18/10/20)
Hi I’m Toro, a 19-Month-old Male Rotti x Staffy. Im a happy go lucky young man who is searching for his forever family to call my own. I absolutely adore people and always want the pats and love.
Some of my various interests include a total love for food, cuddles, playing, going on long walks, sleeping and being with my humans, which is by far my most favourite thing to do. I’m a real mix between mum and dad, “I’ve got all the best bits from both breeds”, is what I heard my foster mum say. Basically, I’m an active, lovable, adorable big teddy bear who can’t wait to meet my forever family, Is that you?
Toro knows all the basic commands and a couple of added ones too; he is a very smart dog who is very food orientated so responds well to commands and training where food is involved. He is good on the lead but can pull a little at first, the more he is walked the better he gets. Loves playing with the tennis ball, will play fetch but is learning to give the ball back. Toro will sit and wait to be told when to eat even when the food is right in front of him. Just an all-round beautiful boy. Toro would benefit from a dog savvy family who can really mold and teach this young man how to be the best doggo ever!
Toro would be best as an only dog, as he just so loves the attention. He would suit a family home, where someone is home for the majority of the day. He is an outside dog but is also good inside, and loves to cuddle and bond with his family. Toro would benefit from being welcomed inside the family home at nights for these very important moments of bonding as he settles in. Toro is still getting used to car trips but loves the adventures that follow. Toro has been in a family situation before and I feel this would suit him best, an active family with children ages 10 and over. Due to his size, Toro can get a little excited and with that big Rotti tail, which may accidently startle or knock over young children. Toro would love an active couple who have plenty of time to dedicate to this handsome lad.
