About Titan
### Please note: Our Rescue is not adopting to people in the Stage 4 lockdown area’s at this time sorry. Please do not request or suggest if there are ways around this. ###
Please meet our super affectionate, loving little man “Titan”. He wants nothing more than to be the centre of your world and be your partner in crime.
Titan doesn’t like being left alone for long so you will need to be home full time. He loves walks, running and exploring, and would love to accompany you on many adventures. Titan is not suited to a small back yard in a built up area, he needs space to run and explore.
Although Titan is dog friendly, he can annoy some dogs by jumping at their face for attention and can get anxious if other dogs are shown more attention than him. Therefore, we would prefer Titan is the only dog in the household that is allowed play time with other tolerant dogs at times. If you have a dog savvy cat however, Titan would be very happy for the company. He is also great with kids and would enjoy the attention and fun playing with them.
He knows to sit, wait for food, wait at doors and is willing to learn lots more. He can also use his cleverness to get his own way if you let him so an owner that will shower him with love and attention along with boundaries and constancy is required.
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.
Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
