About general - a gentle giant!

friendly and polite, young general has been waiting half his life for a family of his own. Born in 2009, this big boy weighs about 50 kgs. Maybe that's why nobody adopted him. When general arrived at best friends, he was in tough shape. The poor guy was skinny and sad wondering where his family was. But with proper treatment and tlc, he's much better now and continuing to improve. Otherwise, he's a healthy young dog. General is great with people, and likes to play with other dogs. Because of his size and playfulness, he'd do best in a home with children age 6 and older, but he's very friendly. General loves treats, is good on walks, and has enjoyed meeting all kinds of people. Like many big dogs, he could use some basic training. General loves having room to romp with his doggie pals at the park. But what this sweet boy really needs is for someone to finally pick him and take him home. General would be so grateful if you'd call to ask about him!
