About Pickles
My name is Pickles and I came to the RSPCA as a stray with another feline friend who was FIV positive. When I was tested for FIV (which is a feline version of HIV found in some humans) my results were negative.
As FIV can take up to 6 months to develop I will need to be re-tested in March 2021 just to be sure the result is not positive, even if it is highly unlikely to change.
I am a recovered cat flu cat. The staff here can fill you in on that more, but it is not contagious to humans.
Upon checking my teeth, the vets discovered they weren't quite as healthy and shiny as they should be. They were so kind that they gave my teeth a really thorough clean to make them sparkly and strong. To ensure my teeth remain as healthy as possible, I should have them checked by a vet regularly and will also benefit from a good quality dental care diet.
I am a very well behaved cat. I make sure to have clean paws at all times, I always use my litter tray, and just wait till you see my skills at playing with toys. You should also hear how fantastically I purr....but usually I need some help from my human for that....pats and cuddles do make it louder.
I will need to stay as an indoor only cat as I am more than happy to share the lounge and your bed with you.
So come and give me a pat and then we can get down to the adoption process right?
Love Pickles
xXx
