About Daisy
This is Daisy who came to AWL as a street kitten that needed massive amounts of time spent by her carers socialising her. Daisy will once adopted revert back to her "street cat" attitude and the person adopting her needs to understand that Daisy needs plenty of time to settle into her new home. Daisy will not be suitable to first time cat owners or anyone that does not have experience with cats. Daisy is not suited to a home with children but she does appear to like other cats. Daisy will settle into a home once she feels relaxed in her new surroundings which may take weeks. Please apply only to adopt Daisy if you are prepared to allow Daisy to settle in her time. Daisy is affectionate to her carers as they have won her trust and the person adopting needs to work with Daisy to do the same. Your reward will be when Daisy gives you her first purr and cat wink.
Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me from death row and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from our foster carers & pounds. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Pre-adoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Forms will be emailed to you on request. Please note that several people may be applying for the same cat so we need time to review all applicants. We do not re-home to the first to apply, we re-home to who best suits the needs of the cat or kitten. All applications will be considered individually and approval will be at the discretion of the AWL NSW Branch Representative, with their decision being final.
